IP Training for Carnival Costume Designers

This session seeks to:

• Introduce and raise awareness of IP in general, and IP more specifically relevant to Festival/Carnival Costume Design;
• Identify IP and IP rights (IPR) in Festival/Carnival Costume design;
• Demystify how IPRs can be protected; and
• Demonstrate how IPRs can be commercialized towards gaining and maintaining a competitive advantage, promoting innovation and contributing to the sustainability of the Designer’s business.
