About me


Marcelo Musarra creative director, art director, copywriter, journalist & visual artist. Owner of alô! comunicação estratégica, a multimedia & multi-platform company created in 2006, that develops projects in Advertising, Design, Journalism, Web, Fine Arts, Music and Culture. Since 1983 working in Advertising and Journalism as a creative director, editor, copywriter and art director at agencies as JW Thompson, Wunderman, Case Design, PPM [Habib’s Group house agency} and US.Com Bachelor in Journalism [FIAM/1996] Ingresses in USP – Universidade de São Paulo in 1984, where did different studies in areas as Language, Advertising & Consumer Behavior. In 1998 he lived in USA, where developed studies in film directing at UCLA - University of California - Los Angeles and Design at SVA - School of Visual Arts, San Francisco During 2005/2008, was editor of “Em Revista"​ [“In Magazine"], a publication of Aner - National Association of Editors of Magazines and worked also as contributor at Planeta magazine, writing articles about Sustainability. Has written and edited more than 20 books about Art, Culture and Gastronomy, as well institutional books. Among them, the 50-year anniversary edition of APAE - SP. In social inclusion projects, was tutor at Projeto Aprendiz and instructor for youth empowerment in communication with the IPAZ – Instituto pela Paz. Was creative producer and reporter www.recordplayer.tv, a website created exclusively to show the musical talents from Brazil. Since 2004 participates in more than 10 collective exhibitions as visual artist. In 2012, created a marketing & consulting division at alô! ideas, specialized in Brazilian visual arts and music.
