About me


Mark is the CEO and Vice Chairman of the Wallenford Coffee Company, a major producer of Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. He is also a Vice President of Portland Private Equity, a private equity fund manager.

He also represents Mr. Michael Lee-Chin’s Portland Holdings in Jamaica, overseeing tourism investments in Port Antonio, including the Trident Hotel. Mark serves as a director of the Richard Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship, Caribbean, the Chairman of the pension fund of the National Commercial Bank (Largest Bank in Jamaica) and as a Director of the Advantage General Insurance Company, CVM Television, and the National Museum of Jamaica.

Mark was formerly a consultant with McKinsey and Company and has also worked as a fashion buyer for Federated Department Stores, a legal intern at Freshfields Bruckhaus, Deringer in London, and as a research intern in the Scientific Research Lab of Ford Motor Company.

Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree with Honors from Harvard College where he was a DJ and the head of the Hip Hop and Reggae music departments. He also holds a law degree from Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Florida Bar.
