Mike Hut

As Geospatial Development Manager for VICKREY, Mike brings more than 28 years of geospatial management experience, industry proven leadership skills and a broad network of contacts and knowledge in the mapping and electric utility industry. From R&D and business development through the complete sales cycle and completing projects to exacting standards of quality and service, he brings a comprehensive and strategic-thinking approach to developing innovative, high quality solutions for power delivery clients.

He also has first-hand experience with expanding and developing geospatial technologies. He has researched, tested and implemented the acquisition of airborne LiDAR systems and drone-based mapping technologies, and has led strategic efforts to market, sell and implement complete LiDAR technologies for the firm (airborne, mobile and static terrestrial). He takes a leading role in the research, testing and implementation of geospatial solutions to serve the unique needs for electric energy clients, TxDOT and the oil and gas industry for VICKREY, including land surveying, LiDAR mapping, high-density scanning and digital orthophotography.
