Philipp Krakau

Philipp is managing partner at GLB. He holds a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Oxford and a Magister (Master’s equivalent) degree in Political Science, Sociology and Public Law from the University of Potsdam (Germany). Further to his role as GLB’s managing partner at GLB, he is consultant for Latin America at Pflüger International. Philipp counts on numerous years of project integration experience in the Americas. Furthermore, he was policy officer for security policy in the Mexican office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. He worked in La Paz (Bolivia) for an internationally active NGO in the field of intercultural communication as well as for the Chair for International Organizations at the University of Potsdam. His areas of expertise are politics and economics of Latin America, international politics and international relations as well as energy. Philipp looks back on substantial experience in the field of intercultural communication. After a yearlong youth exchange to the United States, he worked for many years as a trainer and seminar leader for intercultural youth events. He was born and raised in Berlin and speaks German, English and Spanish.
