The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment (MTII) has a key role to play in implementing the Government’s diversification agenda. The Government’s Medium Term Policy Framework, 2011-2014 is anchored on seven (7) Developmental Pillars. The fifth Pillar, “a more diversified, knowledge intensive economy building on the native genius of our people” falls under the remit of the Ministry.
