Techniques for Effective Trade Fair Participation

Trade shows are opportunities to present your business to a large number of people in a short period of time. At this training course companies will learn techniques for making their next trade show the most successful yet. This course is especially suited to businesses that want to maximise their budget by participating in the right trade show and doing the right things while they’re there. In this lively and results-focused course, they will learn how to select the appropriate trade show for their products. They’ll learn how to prepare for the show and manage their participation, whether collectively or individually. And, they will learn tips to improve their effectiveness at their stand – from creating more traffic to meeting prospective partners. Successful trade show participation begins long before the doors open and continues after the stands are put away. After completing this training, companies will know whether trade show participation will help them. And if it will, they will have strong, practical skills they can use throughout the trade show process. In this interactive training course the companies will share knowledge and experiences with their business peers and learn to: 

  • Communicate effectively with the European export market
  • Select the best European exposition for their company and products
  • Prepare for and manage their participation in a European trade fair
  • Create or advise on an effective stand design
  • Conduct more effectively at the stand

Coffee, Tea and Cocoa, Cut flowers, Fish and seafood, Fresh fruit and vegetables, Natural colours, flavours and thickeners, Natural ingredients for cosmetics, Natural ingredients for pharmaceuticals, Processed fruit and vegetables, Spices and herbs, timber, Vegetable oils & fats, oilseeds, Wine, Apparel, Home decoration, Home textiles, Automotive parts and components, Electronics and electrical engineering, Metal parts and components, Motion control, Pipes and process equipment, BPO, ITO, Tourism.

Minimum requisites for eligible companies:

Your company is a Small or Medium Enterprise (SME). This company already exports to the European Union or is seriously interested in embarking on it.

This course is specifically designed for people who staff their company's booth at trade fairs. Project and middle managers at BSO’s may also apply. All participants must have an excellent command of the English language.
