Lacey-Ann Bartley

Lacey-Ann Bartley is the Managing Director of BARTLEY’S All in Wood; a business which designs, manufactures and sells quality real Jamaican handmade wooden furniture, jewellery and household items. The products of this company are made from real Jamaican wood and include the artwork of gifted Jamaican artists. Lacey-Ann offers her customers more than 20 years of experience in wood work. She has her Bachelor of Science in Management Studies and a MSc in Government from The University of the West Indies (The UWI). The topic of her Masters thesis was "The extent to which the CARICOM Single Market has contributed to the economic development of Jamaica via its manufacturing sector between the period 2006-2010." Additionally, she has worked at The UWI in the capacity of UWISTAT Facilitator and Communications Officer where she was instrumental in the development and implementation of numerous marketing and alumni focused, student development programmes. As Managing Director of BAIW, she has merged her father’s micro business with her wood products entity, formalized the business structure & worked assiduously to build on her family’s business reputation to create a solid, identifiable and cohesive brand. Customers appreciate her insight into their business needs and clear communication, which complements her technical background in marketing and wood work. Lacey-Ann is an active member of her professional community through memberships and leadership roles. She is the first runner up for Ms. Manchester Festival Queen 2013 and copped the prize for most community involved and serves as Governor General’s I Believe Ambassador. Her work in Manufacturing & Entrepreneurship saw her coping that National Bakery Bold Ones in Manufacturing and Jamaica Business Development Corporation Entrepreneur of the Year in 2014.
