Lyndell Danzie-Black

Lyndell Danzie-Black is the Managing Director of Cerulean Inc. – a Business Development, Training and Consulting firm based in Guyana. Cerulean Inc collaborates with ExxonMobil on their Corporate Citizenship program on Community Empowerment in Guyana as well as Youth Build International. Ms. Danzie-Black is the Program Director for Youth Build International Youth Project – ‘YouthBIz592’ in Guyana, funded by the IDB. An experienced Business Development and Training Specialist with 20+ years of administrative, project management, strategy, standards and policy development; she holds a Master’s Degree in Maritime Transport from the prestigious World Maritime University, Malmo, Sweden. Ms. Danzie-Black has also contributed to Academia as a part-time Lecturer at the University of Guyana, in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Project Design, World Tourism and Tourism Research. Lyndell continues to play a pivotal role in the mentoring and enabling of entrepreneurs, having successfully monitored and evaluated several Microfinance Entrepreneurial Projects. Lyndell has worked in Europe as well as the Caribbean, and is also experienced in strategic planning, project management, foreign direct investment in yachting and water based sectors, public sector affairs and business development to name a few. At the regional level Lyndell has served with distinction as an electoral observer and event management consultant with CARICOM Secretariat., Lyndell was the Project Coordinator for the 2013 Caribbean Marketplace for the Arts at CARIFESTA XI in Suriname and more recently she was the CARICOM Project Coordinator/Consultant to CARIFESTA XII is Haiti. In February 2016, Ms. Danzie-Black was the Project Coordinator for the CARICOM Youth Crime and Violence regional Forum held in Guyana.
