At Ur-Imagination Inc, we offer high quality holistic solutions to the built environment through design and project management. Our projects include preparing designs for luxury villas, condominium developments and mixed used developments in the Caribbean. Our project management assignments have taken us as far as Africa and Europe but are mainly luxury development projects such as boutique hotels and villas.
As chairman and CEO of The Kevin Harrison Group (TKHG), my team and I have developed a reputation for critically assessing professional matters from a multi-dimensional perspective. This, coupled with a global approach to problem solving, allows the group's projects to transcend worldwide with a sensitive approach to culture, charity and context.
Many of our team members are qualified and seasoned professionals in their respective disciplines and as a result, our projects are efficiently managed through our several project managers. This process enables TKHG to deliver consistently to our clients’ satisfaction. In so doing and as overall head of the group, the above processes have enabled me to focus on building and maintaining local and international relationships to sustain the continued growth of TKHG. Our marketing thrust is therefore now key to this growth.
I am a chartered architect and project manager with 20 years experience in the construction and property development industry. Our core team also consists of other professionals, who are similarly trained. Our senior project manager is trained to a post graduate level with over 20 years industry experience and all project leaders possess Bachelor’s Degrees with over 5 years experience. In particular our Information Technology manager has over 15 years experience in information and communication technology and media related matters.
Our practice specializes in the disciplines of architecture, urban design, design and build, project management, property valuation, property investment and management and new media. In these capacities our entity has developed several luxury housing schemes mainly for the Barbados market and has been instrumental in developing designs for several multi-million dollar luxury villa renovations on the prestigious sandy lane estate in Barbados and resorts worldwide.
Our brand needs to be more visible in the global market place especially since we are currently operating in a small market (Barbados). Our marketing strategy therefore needs to reach our major market (international businesses and internationally based business people) who already have a relationship with the Caribbean or wish to establish such a relationship. We also plan to give ample attention to pursuing clients in the emerging markets of the world.
Currently, 90% of our business is generated through international businesses and internationally based business people. Most of these clients have properties on Barbados’ west coast which formed the basis for our consultancy service. We therefore provide consulting services to these entities or persons on their projects in Europe and in the Caribbean. We in turn see great potential in the luxury development markets of other Caribbean islands, building on our success and experience in the luxury development market in Barbados.
