Every city needs information to run smoothly. But when it comes to public space, information is combined with privacy compromise with the use of cameras (CCTV’s) or smartphones. RoadSense is all about aggregating data from the public domain without harming privacy and not for enforcement needs as we are not able to track faces or license plate numbers. Our technology ingests data from millions of devices installed on the street and highways and with the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms we provide a real-time picture of what is happening on the street. Our devices are based on radars that can seamlessly work with CCTV’s, so together we can create a brand new layer of data to be in the service for the city’s management. With our solution in the streets, we can: - Count people - Count and sort vehicles by volume - Provide data-based statistics - Build predictions When we count people we can improve pedestrian crossing, as we can understand how they act near it. When we count vehicles we are starting to realize how it affects pedestrian movement, and vice versa. All the elements in the public space are connected and effects each other. These are the city’s secrets… Those secrets are preventing from cities to become truly smart-cities, and our system is enabling it. Track people (as objects, not faces), understand their movement in the public space and improve it. This is what we believe can make a difference. Understanding. Our major keyword is EASY. The devices are easy to install, without too much trouble and interference to public order. The data is easy to understand, and it’s very easy to connect us and get support. Another big advantage is our price. We know that for cities to make such a decision, the solution must be very price-oriented. And that is exactly what we are doing.
