EC is an internationally active engineering company, providing several consulting services, detailed engineering and project management support. Our areas of application include industrial plants, bridges and infrastructure and building systems. We provide support for our clients during all project phases, from conception to execution: • Support during the project planning phases (coordination of site studies, gathering of local data, preliminary engineering estimations, applied geophysics services) • Multidisciplinary engineering detail design for the civil, structural, architectural and electromechanical works (Balance of Plant design), including tridimensional Building Information Modeling services (BIM) and the coordination of multidisciplinary engineering specialists • Comprehensive project supervision including: technical supervision, quality assurance and quality control, physical and financial progress control, project documentation, verification of projects compliance with drawings and applicable standards, as well as project coordination support by implementing BIM Tools The BIM services that we offer are available for several application areas including: infrastructure works (earth movement and exterior installations) as well as the civil, structural, architectural and building services disciplines (CSA and MEP). These tools are specially useful for an early detection of interferences and therefore reducing waste on the planning phase, resulting in lower costs for the project. We also have available equipment for the execution of geophysical test on site (seismic refraction, electrical resistivity and MASW) and Non-Destructive Test on concrete structures
