At this CBI Market Intelligence training course BSO’s can turn their market research into useful market intelligence. Through practical assignments, BSO’s from around the world will improve their ability to provide useful market intelligence to their exporters. They will assess their exporters’ needs, as well as their own ability to meet their requirements. Then they will develop an action plan to address any gaps between those abilities and requirements. They will also learn skills and techniques for gathering and analysing relevant market intelligence. After completing this training, BSO’s will have strong, practical skills that will increase the level of service from their organization. They will be able to:

• Assess the current abilities of their organization for providing market intelligence, including core competencies and problems
• Determine the information requirements of your exporters 
• Match your BSO’s ability to provide market intelligence to the needs of your exporters
• Develop or improve your BSO market information system (MIS) strategies by writing an action plan to meet the defined goals
• Determine relevant online information sources
• Gather, analyse and distribute EU market intelligence efficiently and 
• Interpret relevant information based on the needs of the exporter or sector

Minimum requisites for eligible companies:

You work for a Business Support Organisation (BSO) that is based in one of the CBI target countries. This BSO is actively involved in export promotion to the EU. This course is aimed at BSO project or middle manager with 3 – 10 years of relevant experience. All participants must have an excellent command of the English language.
