Information is power – but it’s not powerful enough. Today companies need the right information, relevant to both their business and marketplace, to truly make a difference. But how do they find reliable information before it’s outdated? And how can they use that information successfully– especially when they’re exporting a product to Europe? At this training course, they will learn about a wide range of research techniques, information sources and methods to put that information to work for their business. This course is especially suited to companies that need to find reliable data on many aspects of exporting to Europe -- like trends, requirements and buyers. 

In this course, exporters will learn how to use the Web to research markets and brush up on other market research techniques. Plus, they will learn how to analyse the information and use it to increase their exports to the EU. The right data is a powerful. After completing this training, they will know where to find the right information and they will know how to use it. They will share knowledge and experiences with their business peers and be able to:

  • Apply the most-effective market research techniques
  • Develop their own market research targets, questions and plans for the EU marketplace
  • Use the Web to conduct market research quickly and efficiently
  • Translate the data to their potential export products

Minimum requisites for eligible companies:

Your company is a Small or Medium Enterprise (SME). This company already exports to the European Union or is seriously interested in embarking on it. This course is designed for people who work with market research and are experienced in exporting. All participants must have an excellent command of the English language.
