DIGITAL TOURIST 2023

Under the title "New Data for a New Generation of Destinations," on April 20 and 21, there will be a debate in Benidorm on the best practices that help tourist destinations to be more competitive thanks to the application of the DTI model methodology: governance, sustainability, innovation, technology, and accessibility.

Some of the themes of this event will be:

• The Destination Sustainability Plans, the Intelligent Destination Platform, and the rest of the strategies/calls planned for 2023.
• Data as the key to a new generation of destinations: The different sources of tourist data, its treatment with Big Data and Artificial Intelligence tools, cybersecurity.
• We will pay special attention to the "Use Cases" of the different components of tourism, which make technology available to the tourist and the destination manager.
• In short, knowing and sharing the best practices that help destinations to be more competitive following the DTI model methodology: governance, sustainability, innovation, technology, and accessibility.

The Congress will have the support and participation of the highest officials of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism. We will hold a meeting of the DTI Network of the Valencian Community of Smart Tourist Destinations. We will have the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (RECI) and also a meeting of the CTN 178. In addition, the highest sector managers will meet, both from the digital business field and political and administrative managers, at a national, regional, and local level.
