China will be one of the destinations with which exchange of merchandise will grow the most, with its participation in trade with LAC increasing from 1.5% in 1990 to 17% in 2025.

This chart shows the percentage of trade that LAC had with different parts of the word in each of these years: with the rest of LAC, with the European Union, with the US, with Asia as a whole and only with China.

As you see, the share of trade that LAC has with the US is projected to be about the same as LAC's trade with China, by 2025.
