Rowen A. Johnson is a Management Consultant, Founder and CEO of Amaru Business Development Limited, which facilitates access to finance for entrepreneurs through providing investor-ready business plans and pitchdecks. Johnson is a former Assistant Administrator at the ACRM Evening Institute, a social enterprise and community education programme providing evening classes to individuals seeking to pursue courses at the Caribbean Secondary Examination Certificate (CSEC) level. He has been recognised for his work as a Youth Leader, being awarded the Ubuntu Award for Youth Leadership by the University of Technology, Jamaica, as well as the Guardian Group Scholarship to pursue a Global Leadership Diploma at the United Nations established UPEACE Centre for Executive Education. Johnson was also nominated for a World Happiness Award in 2020, which recognises those that contribute to ‘realizing a world with freedom, consciousness, and happiness, for all.’ Most recently, he was elected as a member of the Education Commission for the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from the University of Technology, Jamaica and a Master of Science in Development Studies from the University of West Indies, Mona. He is also trained in the international certification ISO20700:2017 Guidelines for Management Consultancy Services.
