Richard Skeete

Richard holds a MSc Management with a specialized focus in Marketing Management from the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill Campus), with a background in creative industry management mainly within the entertainment industry. Richard, the creative director and CEO of his company Awesome Entertainment Group, has worked in the public service in Barbados for over 15 years and has developed skills and competencies as an Administrator and Programme Officer. His research interest looks at building a creative economy in Barbados and how service providers can optimize the various trade agreements, in an effort to gain a competitive advantage for Barbados through foreign exports. Richard also holds a BA (Hons) degree in Music Entertainment and Arts Management from Buckinghamshire New University in the United Kingdom.
