Rhondine Petrof
Sobre mí
Rhondine Petrof is a confident woman who believes she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to. She worked her way up from a dishwasher to a duty manager in the tourism industry and repeated this success in higher education by working her way up from a receptionist to assistant registrar at a private university in Belize. She is a lifelong learner and is always engaged in learning new skills that will move her business to the next level. Rhondine bootstrapped Toucan Education Programs and continues to design meaningful educational programs for college students using the expertise garnered from 12 years in tourism and 7 years in higher education. She has received training from NAFSA and the Forum on Education Abroad and is a member of a budding mastermind group in her home country, Belize. Toucan Education Programs is a social enterprise, therefore it reinvests a significant portion of its revenue into the Belizean communities where the company works and the environment. The organization recently launched a reforestation program in partnership with a well-known local NGO as part of its mandate as a triple bottom line organization.
