Louis Kinley

Louis Kinley is a lifelong learner, leader, entrepreneur and a mentor, originally from Seattle, USA. He has made the Caribbean his home for the last several years, mostly based in T&T. Over the last 7 years he has supported over 1,000 youths learning to code through programs like CoderDojo and Nodeschool. His grit is driven by impact and curiosity, which led him to co-found CaiPay in 2017. Since then he has been grateful to serve a brilliant team and leading Caribbean financial services firms as we re-think the customer experience of due-diligence and automation, empowering the next wave of inclusion and access to the global, digital economy. Previously, Louis worked on software teams in the Fortune 50 and most recently led software engineering for Koru, a Sequoia and A16Z backed startup leveling the playing field for early career job seekers with its AI-driven platform for predictive hiring which was integrated with Microsoft, CitiBank, Barclay’s, Deutsche Bank, and other Fortune 100 clients. Koru was acquired in December, 2018. Louis brings a wealth of knowledge to solving business problems and simplifying complex technology, and has dabbled in the crypto-currency and blockchain space since 2016.
