Shawn Melville

Shawn Melville is the Managing Director of Ipsum Technologies which is a social enterprise that is focused on creating opportunities for persons with disabilities to thrive in the growing digital economy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Technology and is passionate about addressing sustainable development issues facing the Caribbean and Latin America. He has actively participated in regional discussions on ICTs at various stakeholder consultations, forums and expert working groups such as the Trinidad and Tobago Internet Governance Forum, Caribbean Internet Governance Forum, Internet Society's Youth Ambassadors IGF and ECLAC’s Expert Group Meeting on ‘Using Universal Service Funds to Increase Access to Technology for Persons with Disabilities in the Caribbean.’
