Belgian-Ecuadorian citizen, mechanical engineer, holds a master´s degree in industrial management. Designer of a solar thermal system to dry cacao beans. Project manager and lead mechanical designer of a 25kW wind turbine. Advisor to the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Ecuador, led the implementation of the first wind farm in the Ecuadorian Andes. Advisor, Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands, provided advice to the Dutch government in order to start the transition to a sustainable energy mix in the Dutch Caribbean. Received the Chairman's Award for Operational Excellence and the Environmental Charter of East Flanders, Company Solutia, Belgium, 2009. Received an Award Plaque for the Initiative of GuarandaWind Farm, Municipality of Guaranda, Ecuador, 2012.
