Aid to Artisans (ATA) is dedicated to developing low income artisan enterprises world-wide by transforming indigenous hand skills into profitable light industries. ATA is focused on expanding and strengthening leadership in developing the global craft and light manufacturing sectors, and its signature approach to creating sustainable income for artisans. Aid to Artisans is one of Creative Learning’s divisions. Creative Learning works in overlooked areas to support locally-led initiatives. We exchange knowledge through people-to-people partnerships and sustainably improve lives and livelihoods. WHAT WE DO ATA integrates its services and expertise into broader efforts that support local artisans by upgrading their skills and adapting their products to the needs of the global marketplace. ATA’s expertise provides market-driven product development, entrepreneurial training, and linkage to ATA’s market access network of local, regional and international buyers. As a result, artisans earn immediate income and gain skills make more productive and more sustainable enterprises.
