Le pavillon de la République d'Haïti présente la géographie, le patrimoine, la culture et l'histoire du pays. On y découvre également des plantes et cultures importantes comme la mangue, le cacao, le café, la papaye, et d'autres. Le pavillon met en avant des échantillons de produits haïtiens, comme des textiles, vêtements, chaussures, meubles, bijoux, et fait la promotion du tourisme en Haïti à travers des affiches.

« Expo 2023 Doha est une occasion unique pour Haïti de présenter ce qu'elle a à offrir dans de nombreux aspects tels que l'environnement, l'agriculture et la sécurité alimentaire », a déclaré M. Guillaume. « Haïti possède plus de 5 600 espèces de plantes et cette exposition est pour nous une opportunité de présenter les richesses floristiques du pays à l’échelle internationale », renchérit le fondateur de Jardin botanique des Cayes, William Cinéa, membre de la délégation haïtienne.

L’exposition internationale horticole « Expo 2023 Doha » se déroule sur le thème « Green Desert, Better Environment (NDR : Un désert vert, un meilleur environnement) du 2 octobre 2023 jusqu’au 28 mars 2024 dans la ville de Doha, la capitale du pays.

A pavilion dedicated to Haiti was inaugurated on January 17, 2024, at Expo 2023 Doha, the first international horticultural exhibition held in Qatar, in the presence of the Ambassador of Haiti to Qatar, François Guillaume II, the Secretary-General of Expo 2023 Doha, Ali Al-Khoori, and the Commissioner-General of Expo 2023 Doha, Bader Omar Al-Dafa.

The pavilion of the Republic of Haiti presents the geography, heritage, culture, and history of the country. It also showcases important plants and crops such as mangoes, cocoa, coffee, papaya, and more. The pavilion highlights samples of Haitian products, including textiles, clothing, shoes, furniture, jewelry, and promotes tourism in Haiti through posters.

"Expo 2023 Doha is a unique opportunity for Haiti to showcase what it has to offer in many aspects such as the environment, agriculture, and food security," said Mr. Guillaume. "Haiti has over 5,600 plant species, and this exhibition is an opportunity for us to showcase the floral wealth of the country internationally," added William Cinéa, founder of the Botanical Garden of Les Cayes, a member of the Haitian delegation.

The international horticultural exhibition "Expo 2023 Doha" takes place under the theme "Green Desert, Better Environment" from October 2, 2023, to March 28, 2024, in the city of Doha, the capital of the country.
