We have been promoting access to health for over 45 years. Quilaban was established in 1974 as a business project aimed at importing and marketing in vitro diagnosis solutions, based on the inheritance of the pharmaceutical distribution business built since 1940 by Victor Hugo da Silva Cordeiro. Over the years, we have celebrated multiple partnerships in the diagnosis field, some of them lasting for more than 20 years. Quilaban has driven its activity by the most demanding professional and business standards, positioning itself as a partner of reference in the market, for its customers and the entities it represents. Its founder’s entrepreneurial vision led to the integration of business areas into Quilaban, always within the context of its vocation to promote health as a fundamental link in the supply chain for health products and medicines. In 2004, was launched the orthopaedics business and in 2005 the point of care and veterinary businesses. The combination of expertise in the field of health, and the wish to promote the company’s growth eventually led to its first internationalisation experience in 2007, when exports to Angola began. Later on, in 2013, our international presence was extended to Mozambique, and in that same year, Quilaban India was also established, sourcing medicines of Indian origin to supply African markets, with quality products at competitive prices. In 2015, Quilaban’s export dynamics gained new momentum with exports to several African and European countries, including East Timor in 2017. As a result of its international dynamics in identifying the best buy from sources for the markets it serves, Quilaban currently buy from 19 different countries, and exports to 13 countries. Quilaban acts as a partner for healthcare through the promotion of health by providing pharmaceutical distribution, disgnostics, healthcare, sourcing and international logistic solutions. The key to our success and longlasting has been the extraordinary dedication of our people, who passionately and on a daily basis serve our customers, identifying appropriate solutions that match their needs.
