Biomode 2, SA is a startup based in Braga (Portugal) that aims to provide cost-efficient, rapid and accurate molecular diagnostic tests based on PNA-FISH technology for identification of pathogens in the food and health industries. As a result of 10 years of research, Biomode has developed PROBE4SERIES products PROBE4Monocytogenes, PROBE4Salmonella and PROBE4Cronobacter that have been granted AOAC CERTIFICATION as equivalent to the respective ISO standard. Unlike other methods, our kits enables a rapid (3h after enrichment step), accurate and color based pathogen identification. We believe that with our products companies will have incremental improvements at the level of time, sample handling and cost.
